A Trip to Pangandaran
A
few weeks ago I took a trip to Pangandaran. Actually, I went not to take a
vacation but I went there to do a general medic test as civil servant
candidate’s (CPNS) requirement. Usually I went to Pangandaran by Bus, this time
I decided to ride my motorcycle because I thought it would be faster n cheaper.
After
I assumed that my stuff for my test requirement was equipped, I checked my bike
weather it was OK for touring to Pangandaran. After it was checked, at 9.00 in
the morning I started my journey to Southern of West Java Province. Here was
the route to reach Pangandaran from my house: Cikijing – Ciamis – Banjar –
Pangandaran. Riding my bike through a lot of turns (because most of them were
in mountain range) was an exciting experience. The quality road’s asphalt was
mostly good, but I found a bumpy road in the beginning section of Pangandaran
Residence. Around 12.00 o’clock I reached Parigi (the capital city of
Pangandaran).
My
first task in Pangandaran was to take my general medical test, so I was
straight to join the people who had been gathered to take the test in the local
clinic (PUSKESMAS) of Paraigi. Because I was little bit late, I took a test in
near the end of the queue, and then the test was finished around 5 p.m.. At
that time, I thought it would be dangerous if I was directly go home because it
had been raining and also dark, so I started looking for a motel. There was no
motel in Parigi , so I had to search the motel near the Paangandaran Beach.
A
Hundreds of motel were provided in Pangandaran Beach, but I confused to choose
the cheap one. After I went around, I found a motel which was ‘friendly’ with
my pocket. One room in that motel was cost RP 150.000/night. The facility of
the room was quite complete and comfortable. It had two beds, a bathroom, a TV,
and a electric fan. There was an AC but I had to spend extra money if I want to
use it. Taking a shower was the first that came to my mind at that time because
I was so sultry and tired as well. After taking a shower I straightly slept.
Early
in that morning, I thought it would be exciting if I jogged around the beach
and also watched the sun rise. FYI, in Pangandaran has two beaches, East Beach
and West Beach. If we want to see sun rise, we can see in East Beach and we can
see sunset in West Beach. It is only 5 minutes to move from west to east side
of the beach. I jogged around on the street near the beach and after that I
went to the edge of the beach to see the sun rice. At the beach, I could see
many boats and also there were several fishermen who pull the fishing net.
Because it was not holiday season, the beach was quite quiet. It was my first
experience to visit Pangandaran alone because I am still not married yet, but
it would be fantastic to expend my honeymoon here. Hehe
Years
ago, Pangandaran was just only place for a picnic. In several months ahead, it
will be my home. I hope I can contribute to this country as a teacher at one
High School in Pangandaran. Aamiin. Here are the pictures of Pangandaran Beach
that I could take.
Terimakasih, postingan-nya sangat bagus sekali. Senang sekali berkunjung ke blog anda. saya bantu share ya gan? semoga dapat bermanfaat buat kita semua. Amin :D :D
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteDo you still living in pangandaran?
I am sorry to annoying you, but maybe can you advice me to do the green canyon? I would like to do it with a friend but don't wanted to be scamp.
So maybe, if you can give me some advice, and real price?
Thank you so much
